Recap: The First Month at Spectrum Elementary

The school year has been underway for just over one month now! Students and staff at Spectrum Elementary have been busy learning, growing, and building community. From the successful Curriculum Night to the fun of the Back to School Bash, the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year is off to a great start! Here's a breakdown of everything that's happened so far.
The first month was filled with opportunities for families to connect with the school. The year kicked off with Picture Day on August 1st, capturing smiles from students and staff. Curriculum Night was held on August 6th, giving families a chance to learn about the year's expectations and meet with their child's teachers. The school also hosted a fantastic Back to School Bash at Main Event on August 20th, bringing everyone together for a fun evening of games and community.
Learning is in full swing across campus. Students have done an incredible job of settling into new classroom routines, a key part of ensuring a productive school year. The first PTSO meeting was held early in the month, and an important 6th Grade Science Camp Meeting took place on August 12th, preparing students and families for an exciting academic adventure ahead.
